Ocean Depths - 4 Blue/Green Batik Fat Quarters
Bundle of four fat quarters (approximately 50cm squares). An ocean themed selection of beautiful modern batik designs in blues and greens.
All of our modern batik fabrics are sourced directly from a family-run workshop in Central Java.
The batik is made in long lengths - the background colours are dyed first with a variety of non traditional techniques and then wax is applied with copper stamps. A second layer of dyes is applied on top, and then the wax is removed in very hot water.
