Batik kit for paper

This kit is ideal for the beginner and anyone who wants to have a go at batik. To try batik on paper all you will need is something to melt your wax in (a small old saucepan will do) some paper and a paintbrush. You can try all sorts of different papers - tissue paper, rice paper, silk papers and newsprint all work well.

The kit includes

• a medium spout long handled canting from Java,
•  300 grams of batik wax mix,
•  3 x 10 grams pots of bright procion dyes which can be used as they are or combined together to give a wide range of colours,
•  a small wooden printing block suitable for printing in wax,
•  instructions and tips.
