Our beautiful block printed fabrics are sourced from a wonderful producer in Rajasthan who is working tirelessly to preserve the traditional art of block printing as sustainably as possible. We're delighted to partner with them to bring these traditional Indian textiles to the UK!

Hand Block Printed Fabrics by the Metre.

These traditional Indian fabric designs are all hand printed textiles using a variety of methods. Our first love will always be batik fabric, so when we discovered a producer making beautiful block print fabrics using a mud resist rather than wax, we couldn't resist bringing them to our online fabric shop in the UK! Look out for the dabu fabrics in our collection for authentic mud resist textiles.
